Courage and goal setting
Courage comes in many forms.
Sometimes even to live, is an act of courage.
Courage is being afraid, but going on anyway.
Sometimes the biggest act of courage is a small act.
Winston Churchill …Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.
Adrienne Rich………Courage is not defined by those who fought and did not fall, but by those who fought, fell and rose again.
Unknown author…….True courage is not the absence of fear—but the willingness to proceed in spite of it.
When it come to goal setting and reaching goals we also often need courage, courage to not procrastinate, courage to push and expand our comfort zone and the courage to see it though.
When we procrastinate, we cannot reach our chosen goal. At some point it is necessary to take action and work on it daily.
When we allow our comfort zone to limit us and hold us back, we then prevent ourselves from reaching our chosen goals.
When we lack the courage to see it through, then we will have lost that goal.
Courage in goal setting is reached by visualisation, having a mental picture in your mind’s eye of your achieved goal. A mental picture made so strong and unshakeable that it will go the distance. See that mental picture, that future history as tit is sometimes called, believe in it and never doubt in it.
You can reach your goals, but be prepared to find some extra courage sometimes.
