Money Goal Setting.

Money goal setting and money goal attraction; whether you love money, or oddly some claim to hate it, you just cannot manage without it. Some get so caught up on the “money is the route of all evil” nonsense, when they have not even got the quote correct in the first place. There are all kinds of great evils in the world which have nothing at all to do with money.

Money can just as easily make the world a better place. In hard times when money is in short supply, the lack of money can bring hardship, crime and all kinds of unwanted anti social goings on. Some should maybe rethink the money issue through a little bit more evenly and open minded and drop the negative viewpoint on money as being evil.

Think ahead to how much money you would like to have in the future, near future or that retirement date that is still some time off yet. Then think “what am I going to give in order to receive?” That is how it works, if you want life to be generous with you, then you must be also generous in return. Your generosity to life is in the service that you will bring to others.

Give – receive
Service – money.

Set your money goal and then think just what service you can offer life to receive that money. Then go to work on your visualisation and goal attraction and set your dominate thoughts on your future happiness and prosperity in honest giving of service.

Goal setting and planning / Action / Positive / Determination / Visualisation

When it comes to goal setting and goal attraction planning is a very important thing. I read recently that all you need for success is good planning. This is not true, good planning is a vital part of success and goal attraction, but it can do nothing on its own.

Without action, nothing can happen. It will not and cannot happen without some kind of action. Action is usually constant and ongoing. This must also be applied with thought and good planning because undirected action alone will not achieve much.

Without being positive enough to overcome the challenges that will come your way you may flounder.

Determination is a vital quality. You can do so much by determination alone, in fact with enough determination you can easily achieve many things that others would dare not do.

Visualisation, is a very vital requirement, have the vision to see the end result just how you want it to be and to have that vision first in your mind’s eye in the form of visualisation.

To put this into some kind of order we must start with Visualisation, knowing exactly what we want. Then to have the determination to see it through to the end, while all the time reminding positive and never doubting that you will get there. Take correct action every time that it is called for and never hold back or put something off to another day if it should be done today.

So what of planning? Start your planning after the visualisation stage. Knowing what you want you can then plan for achieving it. Your plans must always be flexible over time. Do not become lost in the plan or end up trying to fight the world to make your plan work, for if you do you will fail. Be flexible.

Goal Attraction and Time

One of the best ways to ensure success is to use your time well. We all have the same amount of time; in that way we are all truly equal. Yet some will tell you that they do not have the time, this cannot be true. It is how we use the time that we have and the choices we make in our time that will affect the outcome.

Ask yourself the question. “What is the most important thing that I should be doing this very moment towards my goal?” The answer to that question will clear any confusion and doubt and quickly help you get back on task.

By constantly working on the most important task, the task that can bring the most benefits with it, real progress will be sure to follow. The distractions of the day will otherwise keep trying to slow you down with many other unimportant things that will over run your day if you let them and prevent real progress towards your desired goal.

Set your goal, keep your goal dominant in your thoughts and allow no distractions to take over, use your time well and work towards attracting your goal every day.

So ask yourself the question. “What is the most important thing that I should be doing this very moment towards my goal?”

The winds of fate

The winds of fate

One ship drives east and another drives west
With the selfsame winds that blow.
‘Tis the set of the sails,
And Not the gales,
That tell us the way to go.

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate;
As we voyage along through life,
‘Tis the set of a soul
That decides its goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

– Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Maintaining a positive mindset

It is vital for your success and to reach your goals in life to maintain a positive mindset. Try as we might there will be times when our positive mood drops or is challenged. At these times we need to remember some happy time, event or positive emotion that we felt at some time in the past.

For some they do not come readily to mind, but they are always there. Think long enough and get past the block that the negative mood is trying to create and you will find a great many things in your past to be happy and proud of.

Instead of waiting for a negative mood before you search for happy positive memories. Why not be ahead of the game? And promote positivity early. Put pen to paper when you feel happy and relaxed. Think back to all of your happy, successful, and positive times of the past and write down a long and detailed list of things that you can be positive and proud of. It will be fun and uplifting to do that exercise.

Keep this list handy, them when you start to feel your mood dropping, take it out and look through it, remembering as much of the detail and happy positive feelings from that time. Very soon your mood will be back to being full of positive energy, or maybe you could look at this list at a set time each day, or add to this list daily as a positive exercise in itself.

As I so often say, “I believe the number one lesson from personal development is; that it is vital to have a positive attitude.”

Use goal setting to enrich your life

Goal setting is not about being selfish or greedy, if done correctly your goal setting will enrich your life and other people’s lives too. Goal attraction must always be done in an honest and fair way, and not with an “I will get it at any cost” attitude, but by all means pursue your goal with a passion or a burning desire.

Your goals must be chosen and pursued with thought and feeling to those that are closest to you.

To set goals and pursue them, then reach them after your hard and persistent efforts is rewarding and will add to the quality of your life in so many ways, happiness, contentment, interest, and fulfilment to name only some benefits.

Set goals, attract your goals and enjoy the journey towards reaching each goal as much as the goal itself.

The adventure of life is to learn. The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The essence of life is to care. The opportunity of life is to serve. The secret of life is to dare. The spice of life is to befriend. The beauty of life is to give. The joy of life is to love. -William Arthur Ward

Be the first

Be the first to warmly smile.
Be the first to extend your arm for a handshake.
Be the first to listen and the last to speak, but when you speak; speak wisdom.

Be the first to be considerate.
Be the first patient.
Be the first to kind.
Be the first forgiving.

Be the first to dream.
Be the first to turn the dream into a goal.
Be the first to dream a dream so big that others are scared to follow.
Be the first to attract that goal.

Be the first to think it through, but arrive at the best answer.
Be the first to think it through and conceive it.
Be the first to think it through and believe it.
Be the first to think it through and achieve it.

Tony Brassington.

Success and goal setting

Life and success could be compared to a vertical spiral. We all have our place on this spiral; there is no staying in the middle, all of us are either positively climbing this spiral or negative descending it. It is our thoughts and the way that we use them that will decide whether we rise or descend this spiral.

The same is true in nature every living thing is either growing or retracting. There is no in the middle ground, yet in life many wrongly think that it is possible to stay at one point forever and that nothing will ever change. Benjamin Franklin notice this believe in people –

“Tis day and will never be night” – Benjamin Franklin

Knowing this we must look forward and upward, setting goals that will allow us to grow as a person in skills, knowledge and character. Time marches on. Do not wait for time and events to overtake you, forget the past it is gone forever. Get to work on the future by setting and working on the right goals now. Set a mixture of goals, a mixture of goal sizes and a mixture of goal time scales – short term – medium term and long term goals.

Everyday concentrate on being appositive person, never allowing negativity to remain for long, everyday concentrate on your goals and keep them dominant amongst your thoughts.

Think of your place on the success spiral and then start to climb it some more by goal setting to reach more success and personal growth.
