Positivity – I believe that being positive is the number one lesson from personal development in order to reach your chosen success and maintain it.

Goal setting – it is vital to understand how to set your goal correctly. Goals which are poorly set or poorly understood, can lead to years of disillusionment and frustration, which could have been so easily avoided. That wasted time could instead have been a time of enjoying your achieved goal; if only you had understood better at the outset goal setting and goal attraction.

Goal attraction – there are many different methods to attracting your goal towards you, some will suit your needs better than others, but the more goal attraction methods you know and apply the stronger your powers of goal attraction will be and the quicker your goals will be achieved.

Everything moves in cycles

.

Everything moves in cycles and often these cycles are moving between opposite extremes. Prosperity to hard times, summer to winter, happiness to sadness, law and order to times when crime gains the upper hand for a period of time. A compass needs a north and a south, a coin needs both of its sides, that is just the way that it is, so many things in this world of ours need their opposite in order to survive or provide what they do. In the pursuit of success there will be some possible temporary failure; it is only the other side of the coin and when we spin a coin repeatedly, the side of our choosing can not fail to turn up eventually.

What of success? First you must start the cycle off by choosing a worthy ideal, life purpose or thing that you wish to have, be or do. This is first done in your mind. Next at some point this must become a formal goal. A formal goal is usually a written goal. Then apply all your powers of goal attraction by making that goal a dominant thought and taking all the decisions and action necessary to make it happen.

The success cycle has then started; there will be times when your success will have to give some ground to its opposite, a set back or brief failure, but that is just the way of things. If you are persistent in your effort, positive in your attitude and have the desire to keep on going without letting up, then you will reach the high point in your own success cycle.

Attract your goal and keep trying until you do

.
Sometimes things just simply fall into place with almost no effort at all, but most of the time that is not the case. Life will seem to test you, to see just how badly you want that object of your hearts desire. It is a test to prove how determined you are. How persistent you will be and how resourceful you can be in the attraction of your goal.

Some call it failure, when after a number of attempts they still have not achieved their goal. It is not failure, but a number of attempts that failed to produce the required result. When we learn from these past attempts, it is then possible to use this experience to refine the next attempt and the one after that too if needs be. To keep on trying and learning, which then leads to improved attempts in the pursuit of attracting your goal, that does not make you a failure, it is just improving practice by experience.

When it is necessary sometimes to try a number of times in the pursuit of your goal, then that is just how it is and you need to do so with a calm and sure mindset that it will come to you in the end. Many will not do this, they are happy to give up too early and as a result miss their goal altogether. They are often heard blaming something, some event or someone else for their lack of progress, but a winner knows that if you want something badly enough, then you will keep on trying and learning from each attempt until you achieve it.

The goal of reaching your success and happiness

.
We set for ourselves many goals over the years, goals of many different sizes and types, but there needs to be an overall goal, which is a goal to reach your success.

By constantly striving to reach each individual goal we add to the success and the enrichment of our lives. Every time we set some goal for ourselves (even a small goal) and attract it to us, we add to our continuing overall success. Also like with anything in life practice makes perfect, the more goals we pursue and attract the easier it will become to attract more goals and success. Building success upon success; ever upwards.

Success – some find it a little hard to define and in some ways the word success means different things to different people. Earle Nightingale told us that “success is the realisation of a worthy goal”. I think that he was right, but there is also something else to be added to this “success is the realisation of a worthy goal; which adds to our happiness in life as we pursue it and when we reach it”. When you think about it everything that we choose to do in life, we do because we want to and nearly always we only choose to do things in a way that adds to our happiness. If we choose to do something that works against us or have a bad attitude about how we do something, then clearly we have made a bad decision.

The goal of reaching your success and happiness needs to be our overall aim in life and this goal needs to be worked on each day.

It has been a great deal of hard work and took much longer than I expected, but now that it is printed I can call myself an author. I am very pleased with my first completed written work.
